DESCRIPTION: Bloodline combines various forms and styles of metal music to create their unique sound. The band claims the main elements are thrash metal and groove metal, with elements of black metal, progressive metal, power metal, speed metal, death metal, nu metal and other styles mixed in. The result is a very brutal and aggressive, but not too sloppy or overdone sound. BIOGRAPHY: The roots of Bloodline are unknown, as the members begun writing and crafting material years prior to joining the band. However, in early 2012, Nick Ottaviano (Drums) met Kevin Nace (Guitars) and started the band together. The two began exchanging ideas and helped create some of Bloodline's more well known songs, such as "Hell on Earth". After a few months, they decided to further develop their music by adding in some new members. Nick brought in his long time friends John Mitchell (Vocals), Adrian Rosebrook (Guitars), and Tyler Burns (Bass) to complete the original line up. The band continued to write and perfect their material until, after only a few months, Tyler and Adrian both quit the band. Many members came in, but none clicked with the band as well as Nick, Kevin, and John hoped. After several long months of being an incomplete band, Nick remembered the members of a band named "Corrupt Messiah", which we was slated to play drums for (The band broke up the day before he was supposed to join). He called up Cade and Matt Anderson and asked if they would join. Over time, Nick convinced them and the band was once again complete. However, disaster struck again when both of the new members the band dropped out. Quickly looking for alternative members, Kevin brought his friend Jayson Lux (Bass) in to fill the spot of the second guitarist. It took some convincing, but eventually he agreed to do it. Only a few hours after his agreement, Nick met Pete Brennan (Guitars) and after discussing the band for a bit, he knew he was destined to fill the position (Primarily due to his heavy knowledge of Black Metal, something the band wasn't too familiar with). Jayson then switched over to bass to complete the line up once more. Since then, much had gone on. The band had nearly finished the material for their debut album, "Annihilation Nation". The band is currently working on a preview of the album, as well as a DVD entitled "Welcome To Our World", which documents what the band has gone through since their formation. The band later took part in the Gorilla Music Fest, debuting two new tracks (The Demon Inside and The Warbeast) and helping spread their fan base in a different direction. Kevin filled in as vocalist, but wasn't satisfied with this new postion, claiming, "I couldn't head bang or do anything, and I messed up some the lyrics". Pete's friend Adam Karr filled in as vocalist, completing the band's final line up.
