The Drunkn' Puppies Originally started out as a jam session at a little hole in the wall in Orlando about 2 years ago, and progressed into a collection of covers and Original songs, about 15 originals so far and counting, which are now being recorded professionally and will be released as we finish them. The band has played for Poker runs, and other biker events this past year. The most recent event was at The Fun Spot in Kissimmee FL, which netted over $500 for USACares.org. We are in the process of booking more dates at The Fun Spot at this time. We also perform at Roscoe's Bar and Package, The oldest bar in Kissimmee FL and are in negotiations with some venues in Cocoa FL, near the beach. The core of the band consists of 4 seasoned musicians, Scott Harris: Guitar/ Lead Vocals. Scott plays Fender and Gibson Guitars, usually on a fender amp with Marshall speakers Harmonica Dave Kerlins: Harmonica/ Backup Vocals. Dave uses Hohner Harmonicas with a JR Blues amp to kick out his sound Mark Russi: Drums/Backup Vocals. Mark uses an accoustic 6 pc Mapex Kit with assorted Zildian and Sabian Cymbals and occasionally breaks out his electronic Roland V-Tour kit when the need arises Jim Hull: Bass. Jim is Wireless with his Rickenbacker bass and Ampeg Bass Amp behind him We alternate 3 other lead guitar players, Professor Les, Jerry and Eddy based on availability. The band plays songs by Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Stevie Ray Vaughn, ZZ Top, Tom Petty, Jimmy Buffet and Lynyrd Skynyrd just to name a few, along with our Originals.
