Psycho Magnets are a 3 piece rock band that put out a sound and put on a show that rival any band. Formed in 1999, the band expertly covers classic bands such as KISS, Motley Crue, Poison, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath and have recently completed a 5 song EP/CD of original songs that have quickly become fan favorites. Psycho Magnets have opened for such bands as Blue Oyster Cult, Vince Neil of Motley Crue, Steven Pearcy of Ratt and others. With many local awards under their belt, Psycho Magnets continue to rock Central Florida and can be seen in clubs from Flagler Beach to Orlando. Psycho Magnets is, Bill Hamilton - Lead Vocals/Bass: Hailing from New Jersey, Bill has over 25 years of experience playing in a several bands throughout that time. Relocating to Florida introduced him to the local band scene where he teamed up with talented friends and bands and ultimately the Psycho Magnets. Rockin the low end with pounding bass and versatile vocals, Bill is the front man for the Psycho Magnets. Bills influences include Dee Snider, Rick Springfield, Alice Cooper and Motley Crue. Sid Hill - Drums/Vocals: Sid has been with the Psycho Magnets since it's inception in 1999, beating the drums and singing lead vocals on many songs. Sid has over 25 years behind the kit and continues to contribute his talents and antics to enhance every Psycho Magnets show and make it an experience. Sid cites his major influences as Rush and Prince. Mike Jones - Lead Guitar/Vocals: Mike comes to us from Southern California and toured the LA scene in the 1980s. Perfecting his guitar skills since his teens, Mike found his way to Florida touring locally, as well as through parts of the South - eventually meeting the Psycho Magnets' previous guitar player, Mark McManus. After one audition, Mike joined the Psycho Magnets in early 2008 and has been enjoying the collaboration ever since. Mike has been influenced by bands such as Led Zeppelin, Queensryche, Iron Maiden and KISS.
